Houghton Road Corridor Improvements
The Houghton Road Corridor, spanning 13 miles from Interstate 10 to Tanque Verde Road, is one of the corridor projects included in the 2006 voter-approved Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) plan. Three segments have been completed, and others are in progress. A map of the corridor with the schedule for each segment can be viewed below.

22nd Street to Irvington Road
This project is currently in the design phase, and a public meeting was held on Tuesday, September 12.
The Cocoon is an example of public art that is based on the concept of natural structures found in the nearby desert, such as bird nests and cocoons.
Broadway Boulevard to 22nd Street
This project was just completed in June 2016 and came in on schedule and within budget. A ribbon cutting was held to celebrate a successful design and construction process.
